Understanding Journal Metrics

The journal metrics report is based on quantitative analysis of journal performance as measured by information on number of citations, usage, and data about submissions and timeliness, etc. However, metrics have limitations, and individual articles should be qualitatively assessed on their own merits. You can find out more about journal metrics at the T&F Author Services site.

Taylor & Francis is a signatory of the Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA) which aims to improve the ways in which researchers and the outputs of scholarly research are evaluated.
